John Deere Apprenticeship Open Day

John Deere is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of agricultural and turfcare machinery.
It is hosting an Open Day at its new training centre in Nottinghamshire for those interested to learn about its prestigious apprenticeship programme.
The apprenticeship programme has been running for over 30 years. In that time, hundreds of apprentices have completed either a two or three-year course while working within John Deere’s dealership network.
The Ag Tech, Turf Tech and Parts Tech apprenticeship programmes are a mix of on-the-job, practical learning combined with block-release classroom studies and web-based learning, giving you the opportunity to earn while you learn.
The new training centre opened last year, and the Open Day will be an opportunity to explore the state-of-the-art training facilities and speak to our course leaders.
The sessions will include an introduction to the John Deere business and what it offers a prospective apprentice, the apprentice journey through the Ag, Turf or Parts Tech programmes, plus the John Deere career path once certified.
This is an event aimed at anyone with an interest in beginning their apprenticeship journey with John Deere and all it has to offer, whether now or in the future.
The sessions, which last about 1.5-2hrs, will be held on Wednesday 3rd May and Thursday 4th May with different times to choose from. The events are free to attend but you must pre-book your session as places are limited.
